Children’s Ministry

Lexington Community Church (LCC) offers a Children’s program that provides solid teaching and fun for all students.

Nursery (Infants & Toddlers)

Nursery care is available for infants and toddlers through two years of age.  For your convenience, you may drop off your nursery-aged child no earlier than 15 minutes prior to service time.

“Footprints” (Children ages 3-5 years old)

Essentials:

*Receiving and learning the love of Jesus

*Learning how to treat others with kindness

*Distinguishing between right and wrong

But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.  The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him.  He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.  After he has gathered his flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice.  They won’t follow a stranger; they will run from him because they don’t know his voice. John 10:2-5(NLT)

This class takes place during our 9:00am and 11:00am Sunday services and during our 7:00pm Wednesday evening services.

“B.A.C.K.P.A.C.K.” (Kindergarten-5th grade)

B.A.C.K.P.A.C.K. (Being a Christ-like Kid leads to becoming a Pretty Awesome Christian Kid)

Essentials:

*Building a foundation of Biblical knowledge

*Strengthening core values

*Learning about yourself and others from a

Christ-like perspective

And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on the character of Christ, like putting on new clothes.  Galatians 3:27 (NLT)

This class takes place during our 9:00am and 11:00am Sunday services and our during our 7:00pm Wednesday evening services.

*At the 9:00am and 11:00am services, parents of children in “Footprints” (ages 3-5) and “B.A.C.K.P.A.C.K.” (grades K-5): Please sign in your children at the front desk in the lobby and have them sit with you during the worship service.  During the third song, children will be instructed to follow their teachers out of the auditorium to their classrooms.
